“Haivoron Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant” PJSC workers bravely fought with snow drifts

Starting from January 18, 2018, the weather conditions were extremely unsatisfactory – the whole Haivoron region was filled with snow.

“Haivoron Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant” PJSC workers, like all residents of the city and its surroundings, faced a real natural disaster – because of snow drifts it was impossible not only to get to their jobs, but also to get out of their homes. Because the special technique of the municipal public service did not have time to take away snow and pull out stuck cars, the plant workers decided to fight the foul weather with their own efforts.

The employees of the vehicle-operating department came to work earlier than the specified working time; the rules regarding arriving late for work were temporarily relaxed for other workers, because the transport in the city did not work; and the residents of the surroundings could finish work earlier to get home.

The territory of “Haivoron Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant” PJSC was cleared by its own equipment – the special accessories fitted for snow removal was put on the lifting device. Also, the workshop employees cleaned up the territory near all plant buildings and the adjacent areas by traditional means for snow removal (called “shovels” by people) every day. Thanks to the processing workshop staff, the clearance was quicker because they made and repaired on-site the very same tools for snow removal.
