It was the first meeting of the workforce in 2017 at our plant.
On September 22, 2017 at the “Haivoron Diesel Locomotive Repair Plant” PJSC there was the meeting of the workforce, at which the employees had an opportunity to get acquainted and personally communicate with representatives of the new shareholders of the plant.
The new management assured the work team that they would intend to restore the plant’s production facilities, to repair the equipment and further to work for increase of the production and the enterprise profitability.
After the official part, the employees asked the questions that have worried them most of all – about the future of the plant, the reduction in force, the expansion of the product range, the repair of machines and other equipment, and improvement of labour conditions (especially in the workshops).
Answering the questions and talking about the immediate prospects, the representatives of the shareholders noted that there would be no reduction in force, but, on the contrary, it would planned to open new jobs, to increase wages for workers of technical specialties, to purchase new uniforms, etc.
In addition, the new managers noted that the existing production facilities would be updated and improved, that there would be an opportunity to restore the former high performance of the plant, especially if the workshops would be modernized and new production lines would be put into operation. But, of course, it’s required the significant material and human resources for this.
Also at the plant the “Comments and Suggestions Box” was established, by means of which the employees could express (if desired – anonymously) their opinion on problems at the enterprise, their ideas for further development, wishes and so on.
